On my new jug of HyperWash, it's got a different label.
Color, etc appears to be the same.

With the new Label, is it just that or is there any know blurbs, musings on a re-formulation

This seems like a question for Meguiar's Online (MOL)...except there is no more MOL.

seems like new scent tho? i think that was the same tweak in the smaller bottles.
The different scent is exclusive to the smaller bottles only. The soap in the smaller bottles is also a darker shade of red.

Smaller bottles? I thought it only came in gallon jugs? Is that the "smaller" container?

I wonder when this change hit. The jug I bought in Sept and it still has the older label.

Interesting. None of my local auto parts stores, to include Autozone, stock it.

This fall, before buying my latest jug I did some searches to compare prices and those bottles didn't come up. I'll still get the gallong jugs, but it's good to know there are options.

Its funny that Autozone will sell you 32oz for $29 and Harbor Freight will sell you a gallon for $32.

I use the Ol school hyper wash by the gallon....this stuff is not the same
It does not clean as well or wash off clean

Maybe because it's diluted. Says on the bottle ready to use. So $28.00 is an even more disappointing.

It's not diluted. I remember there was a lot of confusion when this smaller packaging came out. I would refer you to the MOL thread...but MOL is no more.

OK. Then what does the "ready to use " printed on the label mean?
Typically ready to use products are diluted down versions of a concentrated product.

It means it's ready to mix up--don't get mad at ME, I didn't write the label copy.
It says right in the description on the Autozone page 400:1 dilution.

Well if it's 400 to 1 dilution then it's not " ready to use ". Ready to use should be as is right out of the container. Other detailing products with that declaration are just that.

Meguiar's put "ready to use" on most (all?) of the 32-oz bottles from the Detailer Range. This bottle size is aimed at the general consumer rather than pro-detailers, so they use the "ready to use tagline" to make it more consumer friendly on the shelf at auto stores....................you know, assuming everyone is an idiot mentality. A which point, why not just sell that customer the same exact product that already exists in consumer bottle range? Meguiar's, experts at shuffling deck chairs.

not sure what they are trying to say by "Ready to use"....it is a concentrate.
plain and simple.....it is not the same product as the original...

I'm just laughing to myself at the "ready to use" tag line on car shampoo. I would hope someone wouldn't take that literally and try to dump the soap directly on their car without mixing it in a bucket of water.

On products that are meant to be sprayed like wheel cleaner, bug remover, etc, and packaged in a spray bottle of some sort, I assume ready to use the product is packaged in it's correct dilution and, well, ready to use. However, I've learned with some things like 3D's bug remover, it is not actually ready to use. It's just their concentrate in a smaller package with a spray head attached. Can you use it? Sure, but it doesn't apply quite as well and isn't nearly as economical.

I'm willing to bet more than one person has done just that.
