Tried to search this but apparently I'm not wording it correctly.

What headlamp for detailing would you recomend?

( the light you put on your head)

im going to get the atomic headlamp you have probably seen it on tv

The below link came up when
I searched the AGO store for
detailing lights:
SCANGRIP Detailing Lights, best detailing lights, swirl finding lights, work shop lights

For a whopping $75 it'd be nice if they could provide a bit of info like what kind of batteries it takes, how many, are they included, is the charger included, how long does it last on a single charge, how long does it take to recharge, how many lumens, it doesn't even mention whether it's good for finding swirls... smh.

The scangrip headlamp is awesome. No batteries. It's rechargeable and comes with the charger. Finds swirls perfectly as it has the same kind of light as handheld.

I forget how long the charge holds but it lasts awhile.

Costco has some headlamps that are pretty good. They are called Coast. But the scangrip finds swirls better.

I have a coast HL8 that I've been using for a while now. Super bright, adjustable output, and great battery life. So far I'm quite pleased with it.

I got my headlamps at a local Ham Radio swap meet.
3 aaa batteries and a single CREE LED. Real bright and how can you go wrong for $10.00

anything from Fenix with a 18650 battery and make sure they are rechargeable.

it keep's the cost down over time. =)

The Coast lights are good quality. Get one with an adjustable focus so you can find the light beam width that allows you to see the swirls the best.
