Is it normal for paste wax to do this?

As the title says, is this normal? Saw this while packing everything insideThis afternoon. Its a can of CG Pete's 53 I picked up from AG a couple months ago. Only used once & hasn't seen any temp extremes.

Probably nothing, but I figured I'd ask.

yes, that is normal for carnauba paste wax

It's shrinking a bit from solvent evaporation.

Yes. My XMT 180 did the same thing. It's normal.

That's perfectly normal; if it bothers you, set it out in the sun for a hot minute or two. :dblthumb2:

Thanks for the quick answer guys! It's not bothersome, I just have extremely limited paste wax experience as I've mostly used liquid. Good to know its nothing!

My only other paste wax experience is with Megs Gold Class, so YMMV. I used the Petes on top of BL & found it to be very easy to apply & remove. It is a WOWO & I believe I read on here somewhere that if it dries to a haze its harder to remove.

Overall, 2 coats added a nice depth to the paint & I'll definitely keep using it. Can't wait to try it on my black 93!
