I know this is no longer made buy Meguiars due to being non VOC compliant, (or so I was told), but would it be A) worth the price (28.00) B) even legal to purchase.

Or would I be better off using the current meguiars Ultimate liquid wax or #26, or #21 sealant 2.0?

Any opinions/facts/legal advice (haha) would be appreciated.

Thanks!

It's still being made just not sold in the US, very legal to buy it's not a controlled substance or anything selling or having it is not a legal matter. Is it worth that price? up to you really. It can and does last 4 months easy, application when applied super thin is a breeze to remove and 1 tin will last years.

•I've personally never ran into any consequences (legal, or otherwise) from ordering car-care products, including M16,
from an online auction site.

•Worth buying?
-To be honest: What's not to enjoy about
an occasional visit with our ol'Friend, M16?

It's great stuff!! I've got a few tins still that I'm actually looking to move (I've got a while list on the "samples" thread) I stalked up before they discontinued it, but the stuff takes forever to go through. You could probably wax a regular sedan at least 50-60 times with one tin. Plus it beads like crazy. PM if your interested.

I loved Megiar's M16. I just checked it out on Ebay. The offer at $28.00 is M16 made in the USA and the price includes shipping. I note there is another seller of M16 that costs $32 and some change, plus shipping. Checking up on that, it will be shipped from England and the shipping is over $32.00.

I recall that I paid nearly $20.00 for a tin of M16, so $28, shipping included sounds great. I am oh so tempted. M16 is such a "good friend." But, I have moved on to Wolfgang Fuzion, which is my current go to.

Yes, it's legal for you to buy it. If it's a product that was made for foreign sale (here at the Meg's plant in TN), and someone is selling it back into the US, that's a bit of a gray area, but presumably this tin was made for the US market before the VOC restriction went into place.

#16 is a great wax, not like you can't get some Collinite 476S or 845 though if you want the heavy wax experience.
