Is Meguiars D114 Rinse Free Express Wash being discontinued?

I emailed Meguiars Australia to find out how to get some and this was the response

"The D114 RINSE FREE EXPRESS WASH is being discontinued world wide, and won't be available once current stock is sold."
 
Would it be considered a rumor if it came straight from the horses mouth? I didn't hear this on the grapevine. It was a direct response from Meguiars distributor Motor Active in Australia. I'm just somewhat surprised by the answer.

Sorry, I was just having a little fun and didn't intend to disparage you or the quality of the information, I was merely implying that this thread is going to spiral wildly out of control and I bet PBMG sells a record amount of D114 today :D

All good. I was surprised given it seems to be a popular product and deleted it would put a gap back in their detailer range

Well, we know from past experience that Meguiar's (similar to the Turtle Wax rinseless thread) has some minimum volumes that they like to move, or the product gets axed (like #38, #16, #81). It's also possible they are replacing it with a different product.
 
Hopefully this isn't true and someone from AGO may chime in.

Have you considered posting this on MOL?
 
I hope not. Great product. Versatile, decent cost, cleans very well, leaves nothing behind, and doesnt stain media. Not sure what I will use if it goes away. Thankfully I have a couple of gallons and will buy another if this is true.
 
someone PLEASE chime in.. this will dictate if I order some today or not.
 
Meguiar's stateside says this product is NOT being discontinued.
 
That's like Optimum discontinuing ONR...not happening (unless the formula is being renewed).
 
Rumors like that would create a rush on sales...no wait...

Sorry for the scare people. While it is good news for the USA, I'm very annoyed at Meguiars Australia if I have been given incorrect information. If they have not intention in distributing the product in Australia they shouldn't be telling me it has been discontinued. I'm going to follow up this matter with Meguiars USA and then ask Meguiars Australia to explain. I really would like to have D114 made available here in Aus.
 
I called Meguiar's USA in CA today and the TS person looked at his discontinued product paperwork and he told me that D114 was not on the sheet. So then I asked him why is D114 not offerrered in smaller sizes and was told that its primarily a pro-only product, meant for body and detail shops. I bot a gallon a few months ago locally and its a wonderful alternative to ONR.
