Hello guys,

I read many posts in this forum saying that you should just use AIO products for a daily driven car. So I'm just curious, can I use Menzerna product: One-Step Polish 3in1 as an AIO product? Do I need another carnauba wax/paint sealant to bring out the best shine?

I'm new to detailing and sorry for my bad english

Cheers!

Menzerna One-Step Polish 3-in-1 is Menzerna’s take on the hugely popular “all in one” type of product that professional detailers across the US offer as their most popular service. Fear not, you don’t have to be a professional detailer to take advantage of the spectacular cutting, polishing, and waxing abilities of Menzerna One-Step Polish 3-in-1! Menzerna One-Step Polish 3-in-1 will save you time and money by replacing a multi-step system for vehicles that don’t necessarily need it!

Yes it is an AIO.

You can also add a coat of wax/sealant on top if you like.

Thanks for your reply! That's great, can is it necessary if i top it with menz PP ultra? Or do you have another suggestion?

Cheers

You can top it with PP Ultra although I wouldn't. PP Ultra is a finishing wax that has fine abrasives in it.

I would finish it Polymer Lock or Carnauba Lock.

Not that there's any more confusion left but, yes, it is an AIO product and one of the better ones. When I have topped AIO's in the past it was to extend the longevity of the LSP qualities. I still believe from personal experience they don't last too long as far as protection. I add a topper maybe a month or two later to extend the protective qualities.

Power lock a couple washes (weeks) down the road after your application of the AIO

Will one of the lock give extra glossy and shine looks on the paint? Or it's already glossy from the 3in1 itself?

Cheers!

What do you mean by LSP, sorry i'm new to detailing so i don't know the terms.

What kind of topper do you prefer?

Cheers!

3 in 1 is already pretty glossy on its own. It's more or less equivalent to 2500 mixed with color lock.

That's wonderful! Thanks for the answer

Sorry...LSP is Last Step Product or the very last thing you apply to protect the paint whether it's wax, sealant or coating. In my opinion, AIO's have 2 or 3 characteristics...maybe a very slight abrasive "grit" to remove minor swirls, a paint cleaner and lastly a wax or sealant component. It's this last component that, for me, doesn't last very long so I add the dedicated wax or sealant from the same line of products to "boost" the protection affect. As previously mentioned above, I would certainly consider Power Lock or color Lock if using Menz 3-In-1 as your AIO.

You don't NEED to add another wax or sealant on top of an AIO and there are some that argue it's redundant because the AIO already includes the wax/sealant (LSP). I also don't notice any additional "shine" from adding in another topper step but I do like adding a "boost" as I said maybe 2-4 weeks after, simply for durability.

Cheers!
