Hi guys. I've got a banal question for you: are waxes (non natural), polishes and compounds harmful by inhalation?
The question is expecially for Menzerna (I'm using the FG400...) and for Porzelack (...the express wax) products.
Obviously the question is also for the other brands.
Thank you very much!

I would imagine if you sat down and drank or ate it like yogurt it would be harmful. I would concentrate on minimizing the exposure but I dont think if you use these products as intended there is a major risk.

Eh you should be fine. I've worked around tons of chemicals in confined areas without a respirator. Working with these chemicals outside with fresh air should be fine. I mean sure I'm blind in my right eye, I glow in the dark and I'm infertile but I feel great! Lol

I never seen Mike Phillips wearing eyeglasses, gloves or mask... maybe there's no danger really?

Which is the real toxic substance (except silicon) in these products?

It contains Medium Aliphatic Naphtha which is an eye and respiratory tract irritant.

It also contains Aluminum oxide which is a skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritant.

Many people don't use PPE when using Wheel Brightner, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. If you work with detailing products daily, it is best to use gloves and eye protection and even a mask to reduce your risk.

That's fine I'll try to use that outdoor...
Thank you very kindly for your help :)

I've been breathing this daily for over 30 years. If I had it to do over again I would use proper protection. At this point I am old and set in my ways

I'm going to channel Mike Phillips here:

Is polish good for you? Well, probably not. Therefore, by logic polish is either neutral to you or bad for you.

I'm going to say that if anything, the compounds are probably bad for your health. However, if utilized in a careful way in an open and well-ventilated area -- and while using the proper PPE -- you will probably be safe.

I'll repeat something I saw here..Maybe it was a Renny Doyle Quote? "If it's on you, it's in you." Another thing I remember learning from some time around kindergarten... "you actually taste it, when you really think you smell it." If that's the truth, I've eaten lots and lots of Natty's Red and Blue...

Seems to me, no matter what we're into, we all have some risk of exposure to all sorts of stuff. I guess to identify and minimize that exposure would be the ticket.

what did you get from breathing polish over 30 years?

Oh the good old days... I've tasted my share of Natty Boh and Natty Ice...

Now, Natty Ice... There can be danger in that... Drink too many and you'll end up hanging out with this dude.
