Is Sodium Hydroxide safe on interiors at a certain dilution?

3D Orange 88 Citrus Degreaser

MSDS states less than 3 percent Sodium Hydroxide.

Dilution ratio is 1:10 for leather, plastic, and vinyl.

I guess I should trust in the manufactures recommendations, but have heard bad things about caustics here.

I will add my intended propose for interiors also.

I do not intend to use for all interior cleaning, just as a spot cleaner where needed on carpets and upholstery, and maybe on certain stains on vinyl or leather.

It appears that since sodium hydroxide is just one part
of the total chemical make-up of this product...it is
already in a somewhat "diluted" state.

•Sodium Hydroxide (@100 mM)...pH = 12.88
•3D Orange 88 Citrus Degreaser...pH =12.00

But, of course, pH doesn't tell the whole story.
Consideration has to be given to:
-The molarity of each of the chemicals in this product.
-The "strength" of each chemical it contains.
-Their disassociation, if any, with the water/dilutant
-etc.

Too complicated this way: Not worth solving
a whole bunch of quadratic equations, IMHO.

IMO: Yep!
Sounds like the best thing to do:
The 3D Chemists/Formulators should have all
of the dilution-factors worked out by now.

I shall put my faith in the others that know more me. I did this with Griot's Garage Dye-Free Interior Cleaner, still use it with out seeing the MSDS.

I am anxious to test the 3D cleaner once it arrives and the Optimum Power Clean I just received on a set of leather seats I previously cleaned thoroughly with Griots Interior Cleaner.

I like the Griot's for a "safe" interior surface cleaner, but have mostly been buying it because I like their fat bottom bottles and sprayers, and it was on sale locally. Of course I like the dye free part and has little to no smell.

It has decent cleaning ability, but I could use something a little stronger, or the option to make it stronger through lighter dilution ratio.
