My car goes through a lot of bugs but it doesnt get dirty enough to do a full wash when I do wash it. Usually I'm not really worried about getting the front bumper super clean as the car is a daily and has close to 130,000 miles. The bumper needs to be repainted for sure. Im looking for the best way to get bugs off with doing just an ONR wash.

Im kind of afraid to use chemicals on the front bumper because I feel that I might overspray (or it will just float) onto the rest of the car and eat some wax.

Is there a bug scrubber pad that I could use that would help a lot?

Oh, and HAI COMMUNITY!

I recently picked up a bottle of RainX Bug & Tar Pre-Wash Gel at a local store. I haven't tried it on the bugs yet, so I cannot testify to its effectiveness. You spray it on and let it sit for two minutes and then proceed with your wash. Something to consider.

lol

The Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Remover, invented by some genius, is nothing short of a marvel.

Now, I hope they(yous) do free shipping soon.

Looking to pick up FK1000P and now that.

I have the Pinnacle Safe Scrub Bug & Tar and it seems to work really well. I let it soak in my wash solution and go to town scrubbing those little suckers off. The pad feels rough, but it won't scratch the paint. Just make sure you let it soak in the wash solution for 5 minutes or so.

Here's the link

Pinnacle Safe Scrub Bug & Tar Pad can be used on glass, chrome, vinyl, fiberglass, paint and clearcoats—100% safe when used with soapy water.

This is the best Ive used too!

Get wome warm/hot water, soak the towel in the warm/hot water, set the towel on the bugs and go about the rest of your ONR wash. By the time you get to the area with the dead bugs they will be soft and will be able to be washed off via your normal ONR routine.

That sounds like a good way to take off your LSP, no?

PB Bug Squash diluted as recommended followed by ONR wash and they wipe off with my grout sponge with ease. I follow up with a spray wax.

I let you know after this weekend if Earl slows down pinacle scrub will be used with some ONR

its on the vertical part of the bumper mostly. But maybe ill get another really big towel to try.

The waterless bug remover from Diamondite works nice. I spray it on before using ONR. The 1Z is nice when doing a "traditional" wash.

Didnt need the pinnacle scrub it came off with optimum car wash. stuff is great and very slick
