Joe..I Foam the truck first with the karcher foam gun..then power rinse it...and then wash with a wool mitt and dry with a blower and DFT towel 100% cotton Microfiber...that combo has never marred yet...I use Fast Clean and Shine during the pollen season...AW about every 5-6 weeks ...after pollen season I do not QD..I try to not rub the paint as much as I can...The paint will stay like that for the summer....The winter is the killer..sliding ice...sand...thats the marring season...

Al,
i follow the same process and noticed some swirls and scratches from the winter.
I think the swirls may be caused from QDing..When i QD i spray panel then mist a plush MF and gently glide the MF over the surface letting the nap P/U the surface dust then flip the towel and gently buff, ..any thoughts ??

yes..thats the truck....LOL on the Pimp ...And Joep is correct..thats a Menzerna polish job....This spring I want to try something...I am going to polish with PO85RD3.01..that is the Intensive polish from Europe..then PO85RD the fine finish polish....then apply 101 mixed with PO85RD 3oz 0f 101 and 1oz of 85RD...I have played with it a bit over the winter on some test panels and it looks like pure oil on the paint..the wettness is off the scale....I topped one panel with Spray Sov after the polishing...looks like you could dive in the paint after the Spray Sov...

here is one shot of the truck last year after polishing and 105..just the hood

He has a disco ball in there, and I think a removable stripper pole. I know for sure he has some light up shrimp that hang from the rear view mirror.....

He wears disco shoes too....

AL is gonna kill me.....LMAO
:Picture:
Hey Al we're all waiting to see a picture of you in you disco shoes with some of that disco ball lighting. :D How did you get that stripper poll in your truck anyways. Oh yea quite eatin all the shrimp.

Just kidding about the disco stuff. I don't need a pimp in a red truck I mean red pimp mobile after me. Serious about eatin all the shrimp. Besides pimpin and shrimpin don't go together. You can be a pimp or you can eat shrimp but you can't be a shrimp eatin pimp.

101 mixed with PO85RD 3oz 0f 101 and 1oz of 85RD. Let us see the outcome.
Al,
Have you thought about topping Poorboys PWS with #105?

Sparkie...I tried some PwS I got as a sample..it is a good product and finishes out nice....but the 101 had a edge on it as far as having a wetter look...

I see no problem using PwS under 105.. it looks good....just I use 101 and use it as a system since they are made by Duragloss them selves and made to be compatible with thier products..Just like klasse SG works best with AIO...

But thats just me..only different process I used was 101...E-Z Creme Glaze and then 105...and it looked great ..the glaze is a acrylic glaze and not oily and 105 bonded to it nicely...gave alot of added depth and wetness...but i only got to play on 1 car and my hood with it before winter knocked on the door...Ask surfer about the glaze...I told him about it....
