Is this Leather too far gone...?

As you can see, the leather is dry and pretty rough to the touch. Is the leather too far gone to repair, or can some suppleness be brought back to it? I've steam cleaned the seats, applied leather cleaner, then leather conditioner....but it seems like no matter what I do, the texture still remains rough to the touch.

If its uncoated leather, leatherique will handle it no problem

Leatherique products work quite well to bring back suppleness to dried out leather.

And how would I be able to tell if it's coated?

It's on a 2003 Acura TL Type-S.....if that helps.
