Picked up some world famous Collinite 845 from a local boat supply store. But it's it the right color? How thick should it be? It's kinda watery, and they'd no foil seal insert the cap???? I'm afraid the store diluted it. Never used this stuff before.......

should be thick. Should not pour out. Should be Clumpy. Before using it submerge in warm water this will make it a liquid. That is why they call it "liguid" wax.

It's probably separated...there are threads on here about how to mix it

Looks right. It will be real watery after you shake the s#it out of it. Most of the time it will thicken back up. Shake it like it stole from you. But yes it is thin after shook. Maybe a little thicker than skim milk.

Warm it up if it's cold, shake........shake.......shake.......if the bottle is filled to the top, pour some out into a smaller container and repeat the shaking process.
Mine didn't have a foil liner under the cap either, bought it from the AG store.
Yes, that's the color of it.

Should be thick until you shake it. I think OP said it was liquid when he bought it.

The product is correct just shake it until you're sick of it then shake it some more. Then follow the directions for a thin application.

Im an idiot... I left the bottle in the truck from 8am til 2pm. Our winter is here (76 degrees) I didn't think the wax would be as such. Lack of sleep and a negative review on the store I purchased the 845 from.... well.... um..... yea.

Got home from the graveyard shift and checked it again. Solid paste again.

Besides, most companies apply a foil seal to the bottle to prevent spoils during shipment. Yeah.... that's my excuse, LoL.

Thx for all the info guys!

If its thick put bottle in warm water for 15 minutes or so, shake it up... a lot. Should be liquid, almost water like. Read the thread, ultimate guide to using it, follow it precisely, thin thin thin coats, let it haze and buff.
