Anyone use this?

I am planning to use this on long hwy trips on lower areas just behind the front and rear wheel wells, where it get blasted with a lot of stones, pebbles, mud, tar, water and what not. (I don't have mud flaps), then I can just take it off after the trip...
-Also on the mirrors. (I already have somewhat old clear bra for the front)

It's a clear 8 mil film, (also available as 14 mil but less clear) seems to be easily removable, and normally used on racing events to protect paint...

ISC Helicopter-OG Surface Guard Tape (8 mil Outdoor Grade) at FindTape.com

on this link, scroll down till you get to "Surface Protection Tape / Helicopter Tape"
ICS RACERS TAPE

What do you guys think?

Are you sure that's going to come off when you're "done"? A helicopter rotor leading edge is not really an application where they want something easily removable.

some of the reviews said it removes easily, and the product description says " This tape has a high quality adhesive that does not leave a sticky residue when removed.."

EDIT:
I emailed ICS and the FindTape.com customer service, and asked how easily removable it is - will update when/if they reply.

Good Alternatives:

-Tracwrap
-Road Wrap
-Clear Protective Shield>>>(Griot's Garage)

Well I got my 1st reply: (about the ICS helicopter stuff)
Hope you have good fortune with this, or another: transit-film.

Have safe trips when you do travel...(this includes your vehicle)!!

Thanks - somehow I cannot find it online - do you have a link?

I used this on my mountainbike to protect the pain from the cable housing (brake and shift). This stuff is pretty durable, but I don't know that I'd feel comfortable putting it on my car paint since I'd be afraid of it taking the paint off with it during removal.

With that being said: I didn't read any of the links posted on the previous replies.
