Wondering if anybody has experience with this product? The company says it is paint safe and great on cars (originally formulated for gel coats). It got high praise in this marine sealant/wax comparison (www.imarsales.com/pdf/PS0910_reprint_Waxes_web092110.pdf) for shine and >1 year durability.
I finished a 13 hour boat detail two weeks ago and used an OTC available "marine shield" sealant. This was my first experience with a dedicated marine sealant and I must say it seems like very tough stuff compared with car products in terms of application/removal. I am tempted to try the Raymarine stuff I have on a car as it too says it's safe on paint.... Given these products are designed to protect pure metals and alloys from salt water, seems like they could be a great choice for a winter preparation. Collinite 845 did very well in the comparison but only had a durability of ~6 months under pretty ideal test conditions.
