It’s taking way to long to ship my orders

I’m getting a little frustrated that my orders don’t get shipped until 3 business days after the order is placed. I’m a part timer and I make at least 4 orders a month. Probably gonna be my last order from here. But I’ll still check the forums everyday. Lol
 
Idk. I can understand the frustration, but then don’t understand why you can’t keep yourself stocked enough that you have to make 4 orders a month.?

I’m very small and part time doing this and only do about 4 orders a year.
 
They suck me in with their sale and I always like to try new products. Impulse buying ����#♂️
 
I've had the same experience. I ordered something on a Monday, expecting to have it by that weekend. I waited until Wednesday and replied to the original order confirmation email asking why my stuff hadn't shipped yet. Later that day it shipped, and I didn't get my stuff until the next week.
 
Not to stir up trouble, but when ordering it takes 5-7 business days when I order directly.
If I find the same product on Amazon, AND it's fulfilled by AG, it only takes 2 days......

Now it's probably because they have a fulfillment requirement with Amazon, but still.

I'm very impatient.
 
yeah, I waited 3 business days after I placed an order only to get an email saying the item is back ordered.

they should at least mention on the website that it's back ordered ... I would've just ordered it through amazon or something instead ...
 
That has happened to me before also. Idk. Just frustrating especially if you have no patience
 
Same here. Ordered on Thursday 4/19 at 5:37 pm and they printed shipping lable on 4/21 (Sat)at 3.31pm. Fed Ex picked up the package on 4/23 (Mon) 2:33 pm and says it will be delivered by end of day Thursday 4/26. USPS could have it here in two days. I agree AG sent it free shipping. All this was based on AG saying "Most orders ships same day." OK it was late Thursday when I ordered but it should have gone out on Friday!!
 
Depending on the sale, it may take longer for your items to ship. Especially with a 25% off sale. As DetailKitty said, if you order through Amazon(no discounts) your items will ship much faster. I’ve ordered from amazon early in the morning and had the items ship that same afternoon. Most of my orders from the AG store ship in 2 days. As I said earlier with sales, this past 25% off sale I made an order on Thursday and it shipped the following Monday. Sounds like a long time until you take the weekend into account. Plus FREE shipping.

I've also had the issue of ordering an item and finding out 4 days later that it is backordered. I'm the one that had to reach out and about the order and then they told me it was back ordered. When I checked the website again, it stated that the item was in stock and usually ships same day, but that wasnt the case. Hopefully the inventory management system gets fixed soon.

^Thank you. That's exactly what the problem is imo.
I would be fine if i expected that time frame before placing the order.

But to place the item as "usually ships the same business day" on the website only to find out 2-3 days later that it's back ordered is ridiculous. If I knew it wasn't in stock, I would've just ordered it else where.

I've worked in a warehouse as a packer before so I know how hectic it gets after sales/holiday savings but alot of these problems would be fixed with a simple inventory management system and a change to some of the words regarding shipping.

Placed order on Thursday, it was later in the day so I didn't expect anything to happen till Friday. On early Friday got the email that order was being processed. Great! Based on the "usually ships same business day" found by the add to cart I'm thinking my stuff will go out Friday afternoon and I'll have it for Monday when I get off of work and I can get started with my equipment.
Friday goes by and no email that my stuff has shipped, the weekend comes and my excitement builds as think of the things I'm going to do when my stuff comes in. Monday comes and goes and nothing. Tuesday morning my order status changes from processing to pending. WTH does that mean?

Sent email to customer service asking if I can get an update on the order only to get an email back that says we will get back with you in 24 to 48 hours or call for immediate service. Since I don't think my little $100.00 order means enough to them for a phone call i"ll just sit back and wait for the return email. I take a ride by the local shop and rob at lunch for some stuff to get me by (future post about this place incoming) which then cost me $63.15 for some clay and two pads (my order with AG was $103.00 for the same amount of clay, a 5" backing plate and 12 Buff and Shine pads).

While I appreciate the forum tremendously and what seems like great prices and deals in the online store the shipping leaves much room for improvement.

Just for reference I ordered stuff from Chemical Guys on the same day and I already have that stuff in hand. Based on all the comments I've read about those guys you'd think these issues would be reversed.

Thought I was the only one frustrated by this. Usually takes a week to get my orders. It's like Walmart, you hate going there but you know they'll have it.

Got my order in today!
It was a coupling days longer then maybe I’d like and my orange pads are on back order but they did send me this sweet banner I wasn’t expecting!!!!!

Yesterday I called and placed an order over the phone to get a price match. Got an email today saying it shipped. Really quick service.
 
I'm on the west coast and order a lot of gallons and other things that can't be expedited with "west coast shipping" and I just get used to waiting a week or so to receive stuff. Those of you in the south and east have it good.
