I guess with all of the snow I got a little bored, so I decided to make some modifications to my Roadster

Before:

Now the mods:

Original bumper removal:

New bumper being dry fit:

Loading up on the flatbed side skirts removed to have some road rash fixed, and OFF TO PAINT! Top section of the bumper will be body color, lower portion will be left carbon fiber clearcoated:

The paint should be done in about a week or so, then cure time and clear bra installation.
More pics to follow!

Sweet friggin ride man! That thing is awesome! Can't wait to see it all done.

I'll post pictures of my new air freshener in a bit. :xyxthumbs:

Black wheels FTW! Nice original pictures too!

You put something like Zymol Vintage or Swissvax on that thing or do you protect your $250 000 ride with something inexpensive like Duragloss or Collinite?

ETA: Love the matching yellow brake calipers. Did they come like that from the factory or were they painted after?

If your all about "protecting" your ride what's wrong with collinite or a duragloss? While they might not be the best looking all subjective, they are both known for protecting far beyond what a boutique wax could offer

I use Menzerna polishes and either DoDo Bananna Armor or Wolfgang Fuzion as an LSP.
Thanks about the calipers, they're factory.

To quote Mike Phillips " Find something you like and use it often"

The original pics were done by a college kid. He wanted to do a shoot for his final exam in his freshman photography class and I was glad to be able to help.

LOL. Sorry, my quote was a little tongue-in-cheek in that I believe many exotic car owners will demand an expensive wax because they feel the inexpensive waxes are clearly inferior. Besides, I can just see the reactions at exotic car club meets:

Owner A: "I use Wolfgang Fuzion!"
Owner B: "I use Swissvax Concorso!"
Owner C: "I use Dodo Supernatural!"

Owner A to Jpegs13: "Your car looks great man, what do you use?"
jpegs13: "Collinite 845. Costs $10."
Owners A, B, C: :wow:

Lol yea at so many car shows I hear o it's the million dollar brand x wax, but they never mention the 15+ hours that went into the paint correction process, with the right prep work I can make it very difficult for someone to tell the difference between turtle wax and the best out there

Interested to see more pictures once you get her back together.

Amen, too many people think if they throw some $200 wax on it will automagically look better. It's all in the prep and polish.

If you prep the car properly, you can use olive oil and it will look great. Wax and sealants just protect against the elements.
