My bendpak quick jack doesn't reach the jacking points. I lifted the accord along the pinch weld. I can't do that with the challenger. The length of the jack is 45inches. I need about 60 inches i think. Someone suggested laying a 2x8 along the top of the lift. You guys on here are alot smarter than i am. Do you think that would be safe or a really dumb idea

They said they're working on extensions. The guy suggested going in from the sides but that won't work either

are you saying its is 60 or so inches from behind the front wheel arch to in front of the back wheel arch?

Depending upon what your doing you can always use rams or go to like harbor freight and and or buy a low profile jack and jack stands thus find a solid point to jack from cause the suggested point is said to chip the paint i d k why though

Not sure there is much you can do unfortunately. I think a board going across would interfere with other components, that and I wouldn't want to risk dropping a car.

On the Hellcats I've done I used the lift points in the manual as the pinch welds were not an option.

I was gonna go from the rear jacking point to the frame just right of the front jacking point. I have to get under the car and look at this better. This weekend I'll take some pics

I would put the rubber blocks that come with the lift on top of the bendpak so the board wouldn't interfere

I think that last one was the where you would use the OEM jack.

Correct. It's the pinch weld on the rocker panel and the molded plastic is notched out for the factory spare tire jack.

On top of the board I mean

I wouldn't think the board can support that much weight. If the lift itself was directly under the rubber blocks it would be fine, but if that was the case you wouldn't need the board, right?

Maybe I do have enough length to catch the frame in the front

What are you doing once you get it up? Do you go underneath cars that you have jacked up with that on that gravel surface?

That don't look too bad, but being on gravel would scare me.

Does the pictures explain how I can't catch the front lift point. I didn't think I had enough length to angle it to catch the frame in the front
