Jobs are starting to roll in. This gentleman is a friend of my Uncle and is bringing me 3 vehicles over the course of a few weekends here. First up this past weekend was this gorgeous 03 Jaguar XK8. He recently purchased the car from an acquaintance with only a little over 32k miles on the clock. With the low miles and obvious care by the previous owner, it was overall in very good shape. The owner was comfortable just getting a cleanup with an AIO, so the product/process looked like this:

Rinseless Wash with UWW+
Decon with Nanoskin fine grade prep towel (UWW+ for lube)
Polished/protected with HD Speed using white Lake Country flat pads via Rupes 21
Tires cleaned with Tuff Shine tire cleaner
Wheels cleaned with 1Z Einszett Colortec wheel cleaner
Interior including seats cleaned with HD Total
Seats followed up with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Cleaner/Conditioner
Carpet and headliner wiped down with Folex
HD Dress on rubber seals and wheel wells
Tires dressed with Meguiars Endurance Tire Gel

On to the pictures....As I said before, the outside was in good shape, so no dramatic before/afters:

There was a lot of left over dried wax like this all over the car:

The interior looked decent from 10 ft. away, but once you got up close and the cleaning started, you could see how dirty it actually was. All the leather took a bit longer than I anticipated, but HD Total did a good job of getting things cleaned up:

AIO of choice....good stuff:

Paint had some minor marring and swirls, but they were hit and miss and you had to really look for it

You can see in this picture it's cleaned up on the right light:

Overall it turned out pretty good. This color would be fugly on most other cars, but it really looks nice on this Jag. Owner was quite pleased when he picked her up and is sending me his Yukon this Friday.

Good question. I split it up and did the interior Friday night and the outside Saturday.... Probably 9 hours or so. Could have done it quicker, but my grandmother passed away last week, and after a long couple of weeks ending with her funeral on Friday I kinda used the job as a little home therapy to keep busy lol

Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Well you made great use of your therapy time. You did an outstanding job on the Jag.

When I see this Jaguar first thing comes to mind is that 2015 XK models look vintage compared to 2003, am I missing something?
This is English car which most people love & used to know while new Tata Cougars are more like Chicken Masala, I actually like Indian cuisine ( if you visit Frankfurt am Main Taj-Taj Tandoori Bar & Grill Room) but I love English cars, when you mix those two this is what happens, exclusive brand with cheap curry spice, too spicy for my taste.
And of course to see your work is like being in the Jaguar Heritage Trust which is based in England of course.
