I have a 2008 jeep wrangler that have some areas where the black plastic is turning white.
Any priduct suggestions to mitigate the problem.
Thanks,
P@
Any OTC APC suggestions? I don't have any APC from AGO...if it is on your Jeep's fender flares be real careful cause they are coated with a textured finish from the factory. APC and a very soft brush should clean them up pretty well and finish off with UTTG or 303 Protectant and buff off excess with a microfiber towel. If you tape flares when polishing make sure you use a good painters tape so you don't pull off the coating from the flare. The gas cap surround and license plate bracket are removable and it makes polishing that corner a lot easier.
This stuff is supposed to be pretty good: Sonus Tire & Bumper Dressing Gel, rubber protectant, protect tires
Or this: Solution Finish Black Plastic & Vinyl Restorer, trim restorer, black plastic restorer
Also some people have had success with Opti-Coat 2.0, but others not, for restoration like this.
