Friend bought a jeep wrangler sahara 4 door. First mod he wanted to do is a led light swap. Currently trying to help him out on finding ones. However, are there any other recommended mods to get? I think it comes with running boards. I thought maybe to do a fuel injection cleaning and a k and N cold air intake. I dont think he wants to lift it yet. Thoughts on other good mods?"

(Shudder...........) $$$$$

Lol. My wife has a Sahara 2 door. Mods so far-

Soft top/doors

33' Nitto Grapplers w Fuel wheels

Billet hood latches

Rear light cages

Front grille and headlight inserts

Black diamond plate cowl covers

Bottom door sill protectors.

Velcro entry hanger straps.

The list is endless............................. Oh, and I am sure I forgot a few.

I think its more improvements to the vehicle he is looking at right now. More cosmetic stuff would be down the line. Id do the same honestly. Rather spend the money on supplies from the geek

My 2000 Sahara. Did an LS swap on it. Mods depend on what your friend intends to do with it. Extreme off roading then long arm lift with a good pair of springs. Just drive around with the top off, just enjoy it the way it is.

Tell your friend to look at theretrofitsource.com for headlight/lighting upgrades or lightwerkz.com. Both supply quality LED and HID components and have some drop in stuff for jeeps.

Jeeps do not seem bad at all for LED swaps. Looks like a bunch of clips, retaining rings and torq screws which I can do.

The grill has about 4 push in tabs on top. Remove tabs and the grill pops out with a little pull.
Change the headlights before you install a bull bar or winch. Not near the room to pull grill out without scratching it.
With the new engine cold air intake and exhaust is about all he can do. Maybe a programmer.
I have a supercharger on mine and it’s not worth the price or all the work to install.
