Man, I was surprised to see Judge Seidlin in tears when he gave his ruling today over where Anna-Nicole's body was to be buried. I used to work in the Probate Division in the Broward County Courthouse before I became a stay at home mom and he was one of the 3 judges that I prepared cases for. I feel so sorry for him because the media was making mince meat out of him because of his "breakdown" on bench. It's so weird to see somebody that I know and then to see them on tv and how they are portrayed so differently. The probate judges are also the same judges that rule on the guardianship cases. People were accusing Judge Seidlin of "grand standing" and also saying that he should be nominated for and Oscar for his performance. But knowing the man how he really is and his backround dealing with difficult cases of minor guardianships, I really think that his emotion was an outpouring of empathy for that poor little baby who is caught up in all of this. Anyway, I figured at least one person should speak up for the judge and present the man as he really is.
