Thanks for looking.:xyxthumbs:

I LOVE how the Raptors look... but will i ever be able to use what it was designed for? Not in a million year, i cant stand my gorgeous vehicle covered in MUD... not that u cant clean it... but there will always be small gaps/spaces, where u cant clean it completely.

And not to mention these things.... DEVOUR gas....
Maybe if Ford decides to drop a powerstroke in the raptors... i think i will go with the F250....

Very cool Chris. I suspect a Raptor is on your "hit" list after school. Thanks for sharing that.

Looks like a super fun time, but cold.
Yeah, it was definitely cold. 40mph winds don't help either.

Yeah, I know what you mean about those small gaps/spaces. Pretty sure there is still sand from last winter under my truck some where. Talking to a couple guys, some were getting about 8mpg.

Thanks Chet. And yes, a Raptor is definitely on my list.:xyxthumbs:

Theres a company that does a complete body and engine swap with a ecoboost f150 and a raptor making it lighter, faster and more fuel efficient. Of course it comes with a hefty price tag.

I assume you're referring to the SDHQ Eco-Raptor?

Lol yea theres always these companies...

Im a late comer into the trucking field.... I just got my 1st ever owned truck last july... and is a Small Ranger.
Ever since then im in love with lifted trucks.

I have heard the 97 F250 has a really good 7.3 Powerstroke engine.... the best diesel engine ever created. Makes me want to find one lol and rebuilt it with better components.

And man 8mpg IS CRAZY.....
You got to be a rich person to own one of those just for fun lol

The 7.3 was a great engine with a lot of potential. The 6.0 has its problems but if you fix them before they happen, it is also a great motor.

Keep this in mind when I say they are getting 8mpg, they are driving through unplowed trails with 10-20 inches of snow on them, slow speeds, lots of idling and stopping, high RPMs, and near 0 degree temps. Pretty darn good if you ask me for what they are doing and for what mods they have on their trucks.

I'm getting 8-10mpg right now in my truck just driving around town.
