Here is my Daily driver. A 2009 Pontiac G8 GT. Has needed waxed for a long time, but It had to go into the body shop last month. Well finally my painter gave me the OK to clean it up. I wont call this a detail, as I don't want to disrespect anyone's profession. It just a Wash, seal, wax, clean up interior, and wipe down engine bay. All work done by hand as I don't own a polisher.

Sadly it's supposed to rain the next 5 days. Just backed it out of garage to snap a few pics. The cloudiness doesn't do the paint any justice.

Welcome. Nice job and color. How would you describe the color? Have any incidents because of the plate?

Very beautiful work you made that rare Pontiac even more special than Australian based Holden/chevy caprice that's based on the same style and platform

Nope...Not just any ol' Pontiac G8:
Looks just like a nicely kempt Pontiac G8!

Note:
Glad to see I'm not the only one
that uses NuFinish products. :xyxthumbs:

It called pacific slate metallic in the US and Karma green in Australia. It is more green under no light and blue when light hits it.

No incidents because of plate that I know of yet. Now the loud exhaust and V8 are a different story.

Thank you.

Beautiful. One of my favorite Pontiacs ever made.

Thank you. I'm not a Pontiac Guy but when I saw this car, it spoke to me.

Where in Ohio?
I'm in Cleveland.

Zanesville, about 50 miles east of Columbus

I worded my title carefully. With all the $100k+ car always being posted here, I didn't want to brag about my lowly Pontiac.

Great turnout. I wanted a G8 before I purchased my VW. That's a daddy mobile right there!

It would make a great family car for sure. I had 4 people and a trunk full of luggage on a trip from Ohio to DC and back and averaged 23mpg with AFM turned off. Lots of space, tons of power, and the looks to boot.

Looks great! Buy a D/A polisher, worth every penny.
I just did mine with a Flex 3401 kit. Wolfgang Uber compound, WG Polish Glaze then WG Paint Sealant. After the sealant cured I toped it with WG Fuzion paste.

Here are some bead pics. That is how roof dried. No water spots or dust even though it was previously covered in pollen

Now that's some sweet beading and reflection shots you took

And mind you it hasn't been touched. Sat outside all day sunday collecting dust and pollen. Then the rain washed it off last night. Pics today just taken with my Iphone.
