Hello, I just found this site the other day while search the web to find some products to clean and polish my "new to me" motorcycle. I will be getting the Porter Cable 7424XP soon. I will have to stick with a mostly Meguiar's lineup for affordability reasons but I did just get some things that I figured were better. I am very much a noob at this detailing thing but I just want to take care of what is mine and keep it looking nice.

I was just in the garage looking at the paint closer since I have learned a little on what to look for in swirls in the paint and luckily it really isn't very bad.

Now to figure out what to use for the wheels and a dressing and something to protect the seat.

Opiy welcome to AG, you will find the answers to your questions here. I'll give you some advance advice on the porter cable make sure you have the compression washer on the backing plate before you use it. if it's off the PC will heat up and smoke, I learned this lesson the hard way... PC is a great tool to have. again welcome to Autogeek

I went ahead and bought the rest of the items posted in the first post but added a microfiber towel kit and a wash mit. I hope I now have all that I need. I can't wait to get to work on my bike.
