Just picked up a new MBZ CLA45 AMG in jet black on the 4th.
I can't wait to do some polishing and sealing

I washed it once and already discovered some free dealer hologram option lol. Not sure if its a good thing or not that I didn't get the ceramic clear coat.
 
That answers the question I was gonna ask, heard rumors they were no longer using ceramic clear.
 
This paint is definitely not ceramic clear. Im a bit in the middle about the two clear coats. Im 1/2 glad its not just because its not granite hard and the other 1/2 half disappointed because of the same reason. We have owned MBZs with both CC and non-CC and I feel both have incredibly hard clear coats. I have noticed that the car with CC is much more scratch resistant though.
We'll see when I get a chance to do my new car detail. :)
 
Congrats on the new ride, does your front logo light up? How awesome is the engine?

Coming from a Honda Fit as a daily driver, it's amazing! Having the fuel economy of the Fit and the power of an Infiniti G37 is pretty sweet.

I personally didn't care for the glowing logo, it was a bit much for me. I also opted for the gray calipers, I prefer my car to be low key.
 
Oh and jet black was my last choice in color. This car is just so scarce, I couldn't pick and choose. Each dealer we went to had only model.

Wait, you came from a Fit and then into an AMG, awesome! You went from a Swiss army knife to a Rolex:xyxthumbs:

Every time I am looking for a new car I swear to myself it will not be black. Some how I always get suckered by the beauty of the black car. They are full time jobs to keep clean, but when they are no other color can compare.

Beautiful ride!! A black Merc is the only way to go IMO. Beautiful!! Try the Menzerna FG400 and SF4500 or SF4000. I think you will be surprised. Menzerna is the polishes for MB according to their story.

I have the PF2500 once you use FG400 you will have PF2500 as a back up when you run out of FG400 in other words, Never running out of FG400....LOL And I do apologize, you have an AMG...a Bad Azz one at that too!! Not a regular Merc. In a race against my Stang I would have to make sure I do not mis-shift or take off wrong (I have a manual tranny) otherwise, I will be seeing your tailights all day!!! AWD vs 2-wheel RWD AWD kicks Azz
