Just completed first polish

As the title says I completed my first polish and I have to give you guys that do multiple cars in a day props I couldn't even finish the one. So the question is the car now has to stay in the garage until Thursday when I can put on the sealant last thing I did was use Mezerna top inspection and buff off the polish. So what should I do come Thursday to the car?
 
I'll subscribe. Especially because, I was always required to finish the car and get it out the same day.

If I'm doing paint correction a 1 step I can usually get done same day but a 2 step always takes 2 days for me so I don't fell rushed doing it the right way takes time. Quality work takes time and I don't know any one man shop doing more than one car a day doing paint correction. If they are its not getting done the right way.
 
I was working at a body shop. So I would to have wet sand the repainted panels i.e. both fenders and hood and bumper, then buff it out, and polish. Then hand it over to the Detailer to wash it. Interior/exterior and get handed over to the customer at the end of the day.

It was production style.

My uncle asked me how long should I take to wet sand the front end, buff and polish it, then wax it. He said 4-6 hours?

I laughed and said "no a lot longer" I practiced all the techniques I learned from you guys, he was really impressed and realized why I didn't finish. It was his first time seeing.

True Detailing vs. Auto Body Shop detailing.

Both are professionals. Who get paid to get the job done, but they are very different. As I have learned, first hand.
 
Does your uncles shop wetsand and buff every car? Are they removing dirt, or just mostly texture?

So I just used my Menzerna top inspection on it today then applied the PNS. I imagine an IPA wipe down would have accomplished the same thing. Thanks to the advice of the owner of the other detailing forum.
 
I don't want to take over the thread, but here are some pictures. They are an auto body shop. So they repair cars that were in huge accident. My oldest uncle is the body guy/owner. He sometimes realigns the frames, replaces hoods, cars, bondo, etc...(an a lot more)

^ that's where I learned how to use a rotary, wet sand etc..., when I get my new machine, I want to stop by to show it to them :buffing:, they are 45 mins away from my house.
