just got culligan water softner

i just got culligan man water softner for spot free rinse. Has anyone used this there are dealer ships around here in ks that use it for lot washing and dont hand dry.
 
I'm getting this feeling of deja vu...this is the 6th thread you've started on this topic (out of the 6 threads you've started on the forum). If you have gotten a water softener rather than a deionizing tank, you WILL have spots, they just won't etch in like hard water spots. Hopefully you mean you got a DI tank.
 
no i got water softner. i asked about di tank and they said the dealerships here us them so i went and talked to them and yes the same unit i got they have and use and it works.
 
ya ive posted diff threads just to see all the different responses i would get. I have read a lot about di tanks and water softner and herd all kinda different things. So you are saying ill still get water spots just not bad ones.
 
Never seen a good water spot, unless it was a water bead and there were tens of thousands of them on my car. :-)
