I've wanted to do a coating on my 2013 MINI Cooper S since last summer, and with nice weather coming, I finally pulled the trigger on Carpro Essence, CQUK, Eraser and Reload. I've watched Corey's videos on Youtube on applying CQUK, but figured I'd get input from everybody here....you've always come through for me in the past!

Just some background on the car...it's not a daily driver and rarely sees bad weather. It doesn't leave the garage between November and March and the paint is in very good shape aside from some very minor swirls from last summer's weekly washes with ONR.

Thanks in advance for everybody's help!

CQUK is one of the easiest to apply in my opinion along with Opticoat Pro.

I always use plenty of Eraser to ensure no polishing oils are left over before starting the coating, however with Essence you can technically coat right over that. I however stick to the "old school" (pre-essence) way and use Eraser no matter the polish i use.

Are you planning on doing any correction with any thing other than essence? If not just use essence with no eraser coat with UK then top with reload. Wait for the right time to apply reload after UK.

Essence is a primer for cquartz so you don't have to use eraser or iPa wipedown.

If I'm doing a coating with cquartz I always finish with essence because I am not a fan of wiping a perfected car with eraser, iPa etc with chances to scratch and Mar it.

Essence will give you fantastic results and right after go to town with the coating.

I love it
