Just polish my wifes vehicle for a beach vacation . Well sprinklers then hot Florida sun messed up the rest of my trip. Thank God I only have one more day left. Nobody that I am with have a clue how pissed this makes me. View attachment 50633
 
That's why I have my emergency detail kit: waterless wash, glass cleaner, microfiber towels. And quarters for the wand wash, in case things get really nasty.
 
I'm sorry to hear this happened to you during your vacation. I always keep a sample size bottle of the McKee's 37 Waterless Wash On The Go and a clean Microfiber Towel in my truck just in case this happens to me when I'm on the road. Also great for removing Bird droppings.

Gotta check out McKees 37 on the go kit! Great to have for these situations.
 
I'd bring a 1-2 gallon garden pump sprayer filled with Uber if I was going on a long trip
 
Yeah I was just telling my wife next trip I will be prepared for this. Hopefully a freshly applied sealent will eleminat most of the damage. As of right now if I would have came prepared, I still could not have done anything because it is so hot. Well until tomorrow I can't really do anything but watch it bake on my pain. This is why I always bought white vehicles. This black bus has really been keeping me busy
 
Ehh it's life. Stuff like this doesn't bother me anymore. Just use it as an excuse to polish the hood again lol
 
Ouch! I just got home from Florida and took GREAT care to avoid sprinklers :-p

I did my best to avoid sprinklers (which is very hard to do at this resort) , this time I knew I was taking a gamble and sure enough I lost. As of right now there is. Range Rover, mersadies sprinter and an escalade and they are all black. Go figure I just hope they move before they go on again.
 
Luckily for me I don't have to go to Florida for vacation since I already live here. :dblthumb2:

So am I. Well, we're in Santa Rosa.

I brought one super plush 16×24 mf, two regular 16x14 mf, some smaller mf towels, and a couple of applicators.

The products:

Meg's High Gloss Protectant.
Meg's Ultimate Quick Wax
RainX 2 in 1 glass cleaner

They all fit in one small Hefty tote.

We're at the Adagio on A-30 I believe. Tonight is the last night, and thankfully I didn't have any of that nasty sprinkler water to contend with.
 
This is the Nissan Alantra we rented. I tested out some Buff and Shine microfiber pads on it with some M205, then sealed with M21 before we left from Michigan.

Can't wait to head out tomorrow morning though.
 
We are at silver shells I destin. Condos of sprinklers o every parking spot. But the good out way the bads. Had a wonderful time as we do every year

I hate sprinklers though....
 
And that Florida water doesn't help any matters as well, there's hard water and than bodybuilder water lol, Florida is in the bodybuilder water category
