Gentlemen:

A few weeks ago I clayed, removed swirls, polished, sealed and topped my black daily driver with Collinite.

After washing and drying her today in the direct sunlight, I noticed very small pin head sized water marks etched in the paint, (mostly hood, roof and trunk)? While wet she is covered in very tiny beads of water.

I do my best to dry her as fast as possible with nice quality blue waffle micro fiber towels. I guess I am just too slow.

Anyway, what is the best way to remove these fresh marks? And will I have to repeat the entire process after they are gone?

Can I just hit the roof, hood and trunk with a cleaner wax? Will it strip away /destroy what I just did? I was hoping to stop at an auto parts store on my way back from work.

Can I use Meguiars or Zymol cleaner Was? Recommendations?

I still have plenty of the Wolfgang trio, should I just use the polish again?

I just want to apply something by hand that will not mess up all my hard work.

Thanks! CM

I beleave the cleaner wax waxes and cleans in one step. I would polish the affective area and reapply wolfgang. I wash my car in early morning or late evening. Rule of thumb if you can't lay your hand flat on the hood for couple of minutes without burning yourself, then it too hot.

Test spot with reapplication of LSP, or try a quality spray wax.

Whichever route you choose, keep us informed.:xyxthumbs:

Did you try just wiping the spots off with a quick dertailer or waterless wash once the panels are cool? Ussually, (for me) if I get to the water spots with one of these pretty fast they just wipe off with a little bit of pressure. Wipe once to remove any dirt, then try to gently wiple them off
