I just clean my SUV engine bay. I have the Sorento 2014 EX

Everything is already covered up. I check all cables carefully before spraying it degreaser. I follow up with my pressure washer at gentle speed.

I was surprise how clean the engine is after the wash. It is like a brand new car. :buffing::buffing:

I dress mine with Sonus Motor Kote

- Not greasy
- Does not attract dust
- Lasts several months

Follow the directions to the letter for best results
 
It's amazing how nice an engine bay can look with a little soap and water....:laughing:

I like to leave about 150 feet of black hose in the sun allowing it to heat up then spray everything down using the flat spray option on my nozzle.....:props:
 
Take some before and after pictures next time you do some detailing!
 
Congratulations on leaping onto another stage of detailing..now take a load off with a cold drink admiring your clean engine....on a side note a clean engine bay makes people stair in amazement once you pop the hood, and they see it so clean, and is more inviting when doing basic maintenance too
