has anyone used ver 4 paste formula? how many cars does one bottle do and how long is the longevity?

I’ve seen this but if I wanted to buff something off and on from Kami I would go with Infinity wax myself.

I prefer Kami for it’s ease of use as a spray sealant

with the spray sealant version is it prone to causing water spotting?

It being their “sacrificial layer” product it is suppose to protect coatings against water spots. Does it do it…. Not sure

Everything *can* be prone to water spotting given the right conditions; water spots are more a function of the composition of the water sitting on the panel as it dries.

Worst water spotting I've had was back in the sealant days, etched right into the clear. Only water spotting I've had with coatings in the last 7 years was when I had a graphene coating on my car, a 'technology' that claimed reduced water spotting as a benefit.

Point being, there is no magic solution to water spotting if the conditions are favorable for it.

I have read many of your posts re polish angel and overcoat. Do you still think they can be used together. I have used polish angel and now want to try over coat. How often do you use cosmic primer? I am assuming not every tine you use cosmic spritz.

Sure, they ca be used together with no issues.

You can apply Overcoat after a wash one day, go over it with Cosmic or High Gloss Spritz 8hrs later.

You can use Overcoat for a few months, give the car a good wash, begin using Cosmic or High Gloss Spritzes for the next few months.

You can use Overcoat one week after a wash, Cosmic or High Gloss the next.

They're Ceramic Infused sealants/maintenance products so the issue of bonding/longevity can besecondary to the enjoyment of using them/altering the looks & user experience.

If looking for abslute longevity & protection best to stick with one though but if your preference is to enjoy the whole 'game' at a bit of a sacrifice of sqeezing every last bit of durability & protection, switch up as you like.

At the end of the day, nothing of this nature will harm your paint so switch it up, try new things. Sometimes ya might take a step backward but just reload, give it another try and find what ya like. It's shiny paint (or at least the Quest For Shiny Paint) in any event, may as well just enjoy the journey.

As for Primer Spritz, only really need to use that when 'starting fresh' with an application of Glasscoat V2 or Cosmic Spritz on clean, decon'd bare paint.

How often do you use PA primer spritz?

I don't as I'm always using the Spritzes as a maintenance product/toy on top of another coating.

When *would I* use Primer Spritz if I used it?

Any time I was staring at bare, unprepared paint that I was gonna protect with Glasscoat V2 or Cosmic Spritz, initial application only.

is overcoat as easy to apply as cosmic spritz?

Overcoat is by no means difficult but you'd be hard pressed to find something as easy to apply as Cosmic Spritz.

easy is a top priority. what makes it easier. does overcoat streak?

Neither is hard, neither streaks...Cosmic just 'is' more enjoyable for me to use. Maybe its the smell (reminds me of Crayola Crayons), maybe the way the bottle feels in my hands, the smooth manner in which it spreads...but then again Overcoat goes on easy too.

At some point ya just gotta pick your poison and give one or the other a try. There is no bad choice between the 2, I've been using both for years. Maybe I'm just in a POLISHANGEL mood these days

I have been using polish angel started with cosmic primer, then cosmic glass, and finally cosmic spritz. I washed with carpro reload and am concerned that some of the cosmic could have been degraded. so I am looking for a maintenance product I can stick with spritz or use overcoat. I have service at the dealership and am going to tell them not tot wash. I guess my concern is degrading not longevity.

To a very, very small degree any soap (indeed any wash regardless of soap) will degrade anything...nature of detergents and abrasion.

That said, I've used Reset often (among other soaps) while using Cosmic Spritz on the paint and it never degraded it to any noticeable degree. Reset is a very nice soap w great cleaning abilities but methinks sometimes its aggresiveness is misconstrued as potentially damaging. Sure smells clean too.

If it concerns you, switch to any one of a number of 'pure' shampoos once you run out of Reset. I've been using Gyeon Bathe @ 1:5 or 1:6 (dump a 4000ml jug in a 5 gallon jug, fill the rest with water) in both foam cannon & bucket and it cleans more than adequately.

If anyone interested in Kamikaze or even Polish Angel there’s a place online that sells in US having a 15% off sale all their products. I haven’t seen a sale from them before so now a good time to try these wonderful lines out.

I'm tempted to try the latest version of Kamikaze Overcoat as my primary protection this year. Don't feel like polishing and reapplying Can Coat lol. May just hop over to this. Been using Wet Coat on existing Can Coat so far.

Shop carefully. I made the mistake of not waiting for the PA mfg 15% coupon and took advantage of the above for some interior products from PA... didn't notice the Ohio company marks them up some. PA offers free shipping after $100 and 15% off normal prices. Oh, and I'm still waiting for my package from Ohio (UPS fault). From Germany it's usually 3 days.

I'm thinking about kicking off summer with the complete impulse buy in the pictures though. Is work over yet?

If it was the X you wouldn't appreciate the full nude shots you would get of it rubbed all over myself. I'd never shower again.
