Am trying to figure out which 12v to 220v car power inverter (if any) will work with my karcher k3 to wash my car in my garage Or should I get portable pressure washer running on a 20v battery, any thoughts which is better ??...

My hunch (!!!) is that neither will do particularly well. The car battery doesn't like deep discharge and using it that way (and maybe a polisher or two?) will surprise you when it can't turn over the car. The battery powered PW's dont generally much 'umpf'.

IMO, you'd be better off w/ a small generator like the Honda EU2000 which is the industry benchmark but there are less expensive unit (but they're not Honda's ;) )

If you are going to use a 220v PW on 12v. I would look into some RV forums where they have 220v-240v as standard. There you can get great tips and trix. And also look for a 12v battery which they have in the home part of the RV so they not drains the starter battery. There you can also find a good converter. The watts should be okay but the amp when you start the PW is critical and the convert must be able to handle that.

Do you have any water outlets near or in your garage? Or is it why you go with the Kärcher K3 to have the ability to pull the water out of a water tank? I don't remember if all K-series is able to do that or if it's from K4-K7 that's possible. I have a Kärcher K7 and have been thinking on trying to do the last rinse with DI water from a tank or even a bucket.

The best option would be to use a gas generator. But the ones that owns Flex also have another company that does batteries and cordless leafblowers and such named EGO. They have like a big battery pack that is like a generator. Mike Phillips has tested one of these out and there is a review on here on the forum. They have ones with 220v-240v also as I have seen on the Flex domestic site in Sweden. Can be on the edge to work with a PW cause of the amps. And they are pricey but if you have not any choice to have an electric outlet in the garage it can be worth it in the longrun.
