Hi guys,

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the Karcher K5.540 power washer. Anyone have any feedback on the machine?

I thought the 5.540 was discontinued and replaced by the 5.740.

Looks like there are still some in-stock out there.

I emailed Karcher and asked them the difference between the two models and the told me, The K 5.540 is discontinued". I didn't find that very helpful.

Does anyone know what the differences are between the two?

Ive owned a couple of the cheaper $100 karchers and like them. The reviews dont seem to hot on that thing, but i do like the intergrated 25 foot hose. My hose and extension seem to go all over and i spend way too much time trying to detangle it.

Cheap karchers are awesome. I blasted boiling hot water thru mine for twice a week 10 months before it started leaking lol.

For adapters you need the karcher adapter.
