We tackled another Kenworth Semi at E.W. Auto Detailing this past weekend. Tackling a semi is never a quick job, especially when it comes to high polishing aluminum. This truck was overall in pretty good shape, but I assured the owner we could take the shine to the next level!

We first hand washed and decontaminated the paint. Followed this with a one step polish to enhance the shine, but not perfect the paint knowing this is a working truck, not a show truck! We topped the paint with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0 to give it both the shine and protection our customer was looking for.

Next we tackled high polishing the aluminum! Utilizing the Flex3401, Wolfgang MetallWerk Aluminum polishing wool pads from Lake Country, and Optimum Metal Polish

Wolfgang MetallWerk™ Wool Metal Polishing Pads

Optimum Metal Polish, chrome polish, wheel polish, aluminum polish, motorcycle polish, how to polish metal

The truck took about 18 man hours to do the interior and exterior

Nothing like a "K" Whopper:drool: Great work....

That's great, how many people? And how many hours from start to finish?

Actually it took us 20hrs... 3 guys for 6 hrs and one guy for 2 hrs that came in to help get it washed and interior detailed! We rely heavy on the power tools and good quality chemicals to turn these semis around!

Hope you had paid at least $50 dollars an hour. Great teamwork!

Semi detailing, especially aluminum polishing, can be very profitable once you learn the ins and outs!

Nothing looks so appealing than a freshly detailed semi going down the highway.

2 things I want to detail before I get too old to do it are a semi & an airplane!

I would like to be a part of air force one project.I pretty much conquered everything else.
