Does anyone know anything that would protect kick panels or the area that you commonly step over to step out of the car. In the accord we just got its a black synthetic/plastic like plastic that is getting a few scuffs.

I mentioned weathertech mats and that seems like it would work for the area in the far back where fuse panels usually are and is the largest area, but what about the little door sill that you step over? Does anyone have an answer for that?

Thanks.

I was thinking about getting the door sill guards like shown above for it. Or protecting with 3M film. The area I am talking about is the synthetic soft plastic like material in the areas surrounded by red in this picture.

Then I would most definitely look into the clear bra type stuff for that particular area.

Another good alternative might be something like carpro DLux.

The only other thing I could possible think of for something like that would be a sprayable product, like a spray clear bra, or plastidip, but that involves lots of masking off and careful attention to detail while applying. Not worth it, IMO.

I've been fortunate, in that so far: cleaning these components with Meguiar's Quik Interior Detail, and then applying 303AP afterwards...has sufficed.
