So, I'm installing a RollBak retractable bed cover for my 2011 Silverado that is in immaculate condition with no swirls. I installed the brackets on the side of my bed using the provided self tapping screws. As an extra layer of protection against rust, I removed the brackets and sprayed undercoat in the screw holes and reinstalled the brackets.
That's where a really screwed up. I wasn't paying attention to where the can of undercoat was pointed. Needless to say a couple of hours later, I noticed that I had overspray from the undercoat all over the front and rear driver door. I was not happy.
Today, I figured I would start with the least abrasive of all of my products, so I started with Klasse AIO. Worked like a charm. Took a little bit of elbow grease, but it worked well. Followed it up with Klasse SG and now I'm a happy camper again!
After the fact, someone told my I could have used some bug remover, but I still feel more comfortable about the Klasse twins. I know my paint is protected again.
