Any ideas as to how compatible / interchangeable these two products are (i.e. could I layer some Werkstat AJT over Klasse SG or some SG over the Werkstat)?

The reason I ask this is that I've got both products, know that they are essentially similar chemically (with the Werkstat being a newer version of SG), and would like to try and use them together rather than just use one and let the other one sit on the shelf.

Prep your paint, for example the hood and then mark out 4 section, in the 4 different sections do this,

1. Apply two thin layers of just Werkstat AJT

2. Apply two thin layers of just Klasse SG

3. Apply one thin layer of Werkstat AJT with one thin layer of SG over it

4. Apply one thin layer of Klasse SG with one thin layer of Werkstat AJT over it

Then pay attention to any peculiarities while applying and wiping the different product combinations off the paint and monitor the results over time.

Take some pictures and let us know what you experience.

It has long been suggested both were designed by Carlack many years ago. Both are acrylic based and Werkstat is offered as the newer versions. I have used them and while still a bit finicky in removal there does appear some differences in gloss. Prime Strong is also a nice offering within the line.
