I was thinking about the best possible combo for this winter. I want a topping wax that would contain as less solvent as possible to avoid affecting KSG.

Would 2 layers of KSG + 2 layers of FK1000P be the ultimate winter combo?

I have used Klasse High Gloss Paint Sealant and have to say it's indeed a solid performer. I have no experience with FK1000P but it sounds like a good product however doesn't mention durability.

My experience with topping sealants is Collinite 845. This is a great product and lays down nicely on the sealants I've used....:props:

My concern about 845 is the high solvent concentration. It will probably hurt KSG.

Once the sealant has cured for 12 hours or so I dry conditions I've never had an issue using it. Waxes play very well when applied over a sealant and many here use it...

KSG x2 + FK1000P Should be a great combo. FK1000P is said to have great durability on its own. I am like Bobby and usually use 845 for ease of use. But I see no problems using FK1000P.

Is it overkill? Maybe. But isn't that what we do.... :xyxthumbs:

I don't see why it wouldn't work, try it and let us know

FK1000P has a strong solvent smell too. But I read a lot of people saying that it can be layered over other sealants.
