I have a Kwazar Venus Foamer that is listed as the "neutral".

Kwazar Venus Pro Super Foamer

Thanks to Klasse Act's suggestion, I want to start using P&S Brake Buster in a foamer.

I'm having trouble finding info on either the Kwazar or Brake Buster.

Will this product be ok in the neutral foamer or will I need to either get the Alkaline model or a IK?

If i remember correctly BB has a ph of 10. Diluting down will bring down ph but i don’t know how much you’d have to dilute or if even the BB would do well that diluted. At 1-2,1-3 I’d personally try it. If you rinse out after using and flush sprayer that is.

I don’t think the kwazar is going to give you as dry of foam that will cling as well though.

If you can buy a Marolex or Foam-it/Epocha sprayer. I’ve had to of the hand helds go bad. My connections on my foam pro 12 always come loose from the pressure. I’m not saying all their sprayers are junk just the ones i happen to receive.

I have all three hand held and i think the Marolex is the best built and the Epocha makes best foam (got mine through Ammo NyC).

Watch some reviews on them.

Brake Buster can be diluted 5:1 or if used weekly diluted 10:1.

The Kwazar comes with three nozzle tips allowing for wet, normal and snow foam.

I don't really want to destroy a $45.00 sprayer, looks like I might have to go shopping again. :D

DFB, are you worried about the BB "eating away" at the seals of that Kwazzer?

An original pH value of 10 diluted 5:1 will bring it down to 9.22. A 10:1 dilution will reduce it 8.96. A 20:1 dilution will yield a pH value of 8.68. Any liquid in the 6 to 8.5 range can be considered pH neutral.

Aren't the seals made to handle this? I know in my IK's the only "maintence" is changing out the little felt filters in the tip from time to time. Speaking of that, not sure how they even get dirty in the case of the ones I use just for wheel cleanings because I use 100% distilled water and the wheel cleaner Now in the case of my larger IK foamer that I use for foaming my car, I use snow Foam soap or thinner carwash soap and tap water.

Kwazar makes an alkaline model. From what i’ve read on the Venus line has viton seals. From what i’ve read Viton are one of the best seals, it’s what is in the IK and Marolex also uses them

I have never seen a video where the Kwazar venus produced very dry clingy foam.

May have not been using dry tip. Either way can never have too many foamers

I've NEVER used the dry tip (green one) in any of my IK's because it's much too light, think I use the orange across the board.

My “acid” Kwazar pump sprayer turns Megs D143 into foam. IMO It’s actually a negative and renders it unusable. I tried it once and wound up pouring it back out.

I have Kwazar, IK, and the Marolex foamer. I like Marolex the most and Kwazar the least. I find the Kwazar a bit more finicky with the liquid I was trying to foam. It does ok with some while close to nothing on others. Marolex and IK does better across the board.

Yes, that was what I was worried about.

I guess the fact Kwazar also make a Alkaline version had me worried I would ruin the neutral one I have. At the posted dilution rates and pH numbers, I would be just outside of the neutral range.

Either way, I gave it a go and it foamed quite well. This image was taken after agitating the tires, before wheel agitation.

The sprayer was rinsed after use.

Been using Brake Buster for 6 months in mine with no issues.

Yeah been using Brake Buster @3:1 for quite some time w/o an issue. Also Auto-Fanatic foaming wheel cleaner at his maintence/medium ratio in there too w/o an issue

I see it browned those tires up pretty good!

Viton seals, O-rings, etc., are the common key to a (good) hand pump's resistance to chemicals. However, Viton has its limits ... here is a chart that shows Viton's resistance level to many common chemicals/substances.

Viton Chemical Compatibility Chart

I see it holds up real well against beer ... :D
