How well do these work at jewelling the paint and hand polishing. I am thinking about getting some.

These are nice! I have the red and gold and IMO you can't go wrong with either. But if you prefer the Gold go for it! When it comes to hand applicators there really isn't too much of a difference. I have the Golds and Reds as I use the reds for sealant and golds for Wax. But I rarely use them now as I apply wax and sealant by DA.
