Lake Country CCS pad thickness

I usually buy my supplies form Autogeek for the last several years but recently tried Detailed Image for a few items and got some Lake Country CCS pads in Orange and White. What I noticed when I used one last week which was a White one is that it's thinner than the Auto geek ones I always got in the past. It seemed to be softer due to being thinner and didn't polish as well either. Anyone ever get pads from another source and notice anything like this. I don't know if Lake country has different specs for other retailers.
