One of my good customers traded in his '04 Murcielago in on a new LP640 Roadster a few months back. It had been detailed once prior by the dealership before he got it and it was not in the type of shape that he prefers with all his cars. So he went with my 2-Step Package to clean the paint up, plus he wanted the rims waxed and the engine bay wiped down and carbon pieces waxed.

As all Lambos paint is rather rock solid. Correction with the Griots just wasnt happening to the standards I wanted for this car. So had to attack it with the Dewalt and variable speeds after a few seciton passes. One thing I do love about these paints is that SIP and a Rotary is all you need for cutting. Always seems to give me dam near full correction everytime.

Also tried out my new DD Uber Buffing Pads today and I must say...####### amazing. I will never order another LC Pad again. These pads seem to buff better, be more well made and just all around good pads.

Process:

Wash:
Foam w/ CG Citrous Wash
Wash w/ CG Citrous Wash via TBM
Rims w/ Sonax Full Effect & Assorted Brushes
Clayed w/ Pinn Ultra Poly Clay w/ ONR Lube
Dried w/ CG Drying Towel & Leaf Blower for Detailing
Honeycomb Trim Pieces w/ Grime Reaper 4:1 w/ Swissvax Brush

Buffing:
Taped w/ 3M Automotive Tape
SIP w/ Uber Orange Pad via Dewalt 849 rpms 1400 - 1800 - 1200
M205 w/ Uber Green Pad via GG DA Speed 6
Pulled outside and foamed off to remove dust. Edges, Emblems and Bezels clean with Swissvax Brush
Blow Dried

LSP:
Body w/ CG XXX Hard Core
Rims w/ CG Wheel Guard
Engine Panels w/ CG Wheel Guard

Windows w/ Stoners Invisible Glass
Tires w/ Pinn Black Oxyn Tire Gel
Exhaust w/ Adams Metal Polish

Before, not in bad looking shape but upclose on the paint, it was not great.

Verde Ithica, my second favorite Lambo roadster color :dblthumb2:

Looks great! I bet that car doesn't draw any attention!!

I like the GT-40 back there too!

fabulous work. the close up after pics shows how much depth you brought out in the paint.

Very nice!!! Where did you get those pads at, I'm open to try any pad to better my skill. You can PM if you like...

Wow that is some great correction with SIP!!! I love this color, only a lambo could pull it off (or a GT3!). Usually the taillights are more swirled than the paint with their ceramic clear coats.

Good work!
