The color is different but maybe thats what looks cool. The car looks awesome nice job.

OP, how did you find the clear to be on that car?

also, the 355 in the background, do you do that one as well? if so, how's the clear on that in terms of hardness/softness, etc?

i believe the 355 was the first v8 ferrari to use clear. i know a friend had a 348 that used to turn pads red.

i'm tryin' my best to be a baby HighEndDetail up here hehe

Fantastic work, Ed!!! Awesome car!!! Daily driver, huh?

Yes, the lambo and his F430 are his daily drivers. And he does drive them in the rain too.

Yes, I do that 355 spider also. I will be posting it, in a day ot two with some DoDo on it. And this 355 has NO clear on it. Just a single stage

Beautiful Ed. I guess "High End", huh?

:D

I wonder what he keeps for weekends...Bugatti Veyron???

one of my favorite colors...doesn't work on many cars though.

the first Ferrari to use base/clear was in 99 with the 360 Modena(which is PPG waterbourne) up until then all Ferraris were painted with single stage.

thanks for the clarification. i assume the 355's used glasurit single stage then? i remember a glasurit bird decal somewhere on the same guys giallo modena 355, atleast i think i do.

I believe so...its kind of a shame too that they had to switch to the new waterbourne. put a well kept single stage Rossa Red next to a new base/clear and the difference is huge. the old single looks so much better.

the perfect canvas for Dodo and another fine piece of art once Ed got his hands on it. Beautiful ...
