I have some chips that needs to be address and I have been delaying this for a quite a bit. I have some time off coming up pretty soon and figured I should attend to this.

I like the fact that with the Langka, you use the OEM touch up paint.

Dr. Color Chip on the other hand, you use their paint.

Hence I was leaning towards the Langka but before I do I thought I put this up for the good folks at AG for some additional info.

BTW... has anyone tried either of these to cover some of the deeper scratches? I am thinking the principle is relatively the same no?

I have only used dr color chip personally, but I really thought it was great. You get plenty of touch up paint. I have a sea foam blue green metallic corolla the color was made for only 1 or 2 years and the match was spot on. If you follow their directions it will look good. I waited a day or two before I lighted polished out the area to try and even out the chip, besides that though worked great!

My Langka is in the trash and it wasn't empty. Ended up doing it the old fashion way..sand and polish. Some good reports on Dr. Chip.

I've used both and in my opinion Dr Colorchip far exceeded Langra in ease of use and results. This was on black paint, can't see any of the road rash or 150+ chips that were repaired.

I'm in the middle of my touch up paint "drying" t o use the Langka. I'll likely post a review shortly.

Langka is so strong it will pull out chips done years ago (with some work). There is a real learning curve to find out at what point you STOP. Once you've got that mastered, it's good. Dr Chip is a lot easier IMO.

I still can't find a couple of Langka repairs I did a couple of years ago. That being said, I don't feel it would work well for very numerous, very small road rash type damage. I've yet to try it, but I would believe Dr. C. would suit that situation better.

Glad it worked out for, but I find that hard to believe that you can't find the repair. Hard to see, yes, but unable to see.:dunno:

The ones on the hood I can find. But I know I did a few on the doors. I'll have to give it a shot with my 2.25X reading glasses.:)
