when buffing and cleaning off polishes like 105 205 wolfgang tsr & finishing glaze which side of microfiber should be used or works best for you i find nap side light touch to remove majority then use tighter nap to finish polish works best for me thanks for any advice

I use the Gold Plush Cobras both sides seem to work equally well, sorry haven't tried the lavendar yet.

I thought I saw somewhere that the shorter nap side was for polish removal. Larger nap side for buff.

:iagree:The Gold Plush Cobras are just about the right towel for everything.

Not sure, I always heard to Fold it in half, then half again and Wipe, buff, then lip it over to a clean side and keep repeating??? Always worked for me. I'll have to look into the NAP theory

I know I saw it. It pertains to the Miracle Towel, but I'm pretty sure it would also apply to similar towels.

"The Miracle Towel built for cleaning and polishing, too. One side of the towel has a deep, plush nap. The other side has shorter, tighter loops. This side is for polishing and cleaning. The tighter structure gives the towel some scrubbing power to wipe off dried cleaner waxes and polishes. The microfiber’s static charge attracts white chalky residues to leave the vehicle truly clean. Yet, the tighter loops are still soft and nonabrasive. Wipe off waxes, polishes, and cleaners without fear of scratching the paint."

The Miracle Towel could pass as a Cobra Gold Plush.

I fold the towel also, Mike Phillips demo's this , gives you four times the surface and acts as a buffer between your hand and paint.

Someone else may be able to share other info and experience.

I do as 08 300C does with the Gold Cobra MF's...They work for me, I really like the plush against the paint as it lessens the chance of self-induced "uh-oh's".

Short nap for removing polish and wax. Longer fibers for final buff and QD's. I always fold into quarters like stated above.

Sounds like the purple jrs .... I like the shorter nap too whenever removing polishes and/or waxes.
