LC 4'' Pads VS. Spot Buff 4'' pads

Are there any differences as far as the type of foam or strength of these. I see you can take the spot buffs and connect them to a drill for rotatary polishing. You can be a plus. Anything else?

I have the LC 4" pads..with a 3M backing plate...and they work nice for correction work..or tight spots...but I would not to use them on a drill...they do generate a lot of heat on a PC...I tested a panel to see if i could burn the paint..and you can..whisps of smoke came from under the pad..this was on 6 to see results..I would not go over 5 with 4's they do get hot..seen posts were some have melted pads and backing plates from using on 6...

but they do work nice for correction work..like scratches...etchings...paint transfer..glass buffing...polishing chrome...polishing wheels....

but just be careful...seen the power..lol....

Thanks for the heads up. Now is their any real difference between the pads? I intend to use which ever with the PC and not my drill. I can actually save money buying what I need with "Spot Buffs" then getting LC. All my current large pads are LC and I'm pleased with them. So I wanna make sure I get good 4'' pads.

They are very good. They are just smaller versions of the regular Lake Country pads. The foam is the same.
