So, about a month ago, i posted this link:

In the midst of preparations for Harakiri, Truckbutt mentioned that I should contact The Pad Man (Eric @ Lake Country) to see if there was anything he could do to help.
I PM'd Eric, and went about my business.
A few weeks later, i receive a PM from Eric, and after another few weeks, this package arrives at my doorstep:
It consisted of a 4 7/8" (5") BP to replace the one that failed, a 6" crimson wax/sealant pad, AND a 5 7/8" (6") BP!!!! I had made mention to him that I did not have a measuring device on hand to verify whether it was indeed a 5", and he had replied that he would send me 'one of those too'. I had thought he meant a measuring device (read 6" ruler)... not a 6" BP!!!!

There have been several posts of late, especially around holiday times, etc, where people whine and complain about the 'lack of quality sales' or 'the high prices' etc here @ AG...
note this - I am a Joe Nobody in the detailing world, but the stellar forum members and manufacturer's representatives that live on AGO stepped up and helped a person in need.
I doubt that kind of service can be found at most other sites.
