LC Pads Discoloring!?!?

My brand new white LC pads are discolored all the way around the edge. Theyre brand new and never used. Have no idea what's causing it either and both sizes are doing it. Why?? And does it hurt anything???

Hey I hear ya. I took mine out wrapper at xmas to feel it out, then used it in March. It turned yellow!! Not sure why? Never used it.

Anyways, I used the pad worked fine!

A few of mine have gotten greenish yellowish spots.. Just started this week??
 
Mine do the same

I haven't noticed the discoloring effecting their polishing abilitys though

Just make sure you've got them clean and keep movin
 
^Same here! white 4" LC pad turned yellowish!
But I bet, its nothing to worry about! :xyxthumbs:

The white foam sometimes does turn a bit yellow on the edges. It doesnt affect performance whatsoever.

I have cyan hydro tech pads that are "yellowing" on the edges, I just make sure that I use them first. Just another reason I don't like receiving opened or non-packaged pads. As you have stated, I haven't noticed this affecting performance which is what counts. :)
 
I keep my pads in a rubbermaid container with a cover once they are cleaned.
