I initally bought a leaf blower to dry my car.
This past weekend, I found a few other uses for it.

1. Blow the interior: Open up all doors and windows and blow out out the interior then do a wipe down. Certainly faster than vaccuming.
2. Blow the exterior: I do riniseless wash and since I do not own pressure washer, I used the leaf blower to blow off any loose dirt, pollen, leaf, twigs or whatnot off the car prior to any wash media touching the paint.
3. Blow the garage: I found that quite a bit of dust settles on my car even inside my garage. After blowing out the garage, I am seeing less dust.

Hope this helps!

Yep, I have an AirForce Blaster and I blow my exterior all the time. I also blow the garage. I'm always looking for new things to blow.

I have a master blaster , it BLOWS everything away . I started out with a leaf blower but wanted more power . only if BINFORD made one . I'm doing more rinseless/waterless washes now though . GD method , don't use my mb that often .

Oh... if you have a bird bomb or bugs... rehydrate them with some liberal amount of QD and give it a minute or so then blow those suckers away!

BTW... should do all this outside your garage.

I blow leaves out of the driveway! LOL!

Blowing stuff usually takes a much shorter time than back and forth strokes of a brush and other things.

I want to get one so keep giving uses. And we can edit the title to read, "Leaf Blower - a few other reasons to tell the wife why it's a great investment".

^ I bought one from Home Depot for $30.
So far so good.

Is there such thing as "to much power" in a leaf blower I was thinking in getting a good Craftman to dry the cars and do some lawn work at home.

Is there a certain technique involved? I've tried using one on a couple occasions, not much success, seems to just blow water around.

I am planning to buy a cordless one, due to it's convenience of portability. I can use it at my Dad's house to aid in drying around the car edges, grille and mirrors. Most importantly, I sometimes take my cars through a touchless wash and the stock dryer does not always blow off all the water. Being able to take it with me on battery power makes it even more convenient! Just not sure which cordless one to buy. Any suggestions, anyone? -Ed

Use leaf blower as if you were doing the flood rinse.
